Wedding Attire for your destination wedding

Wedding Attire for your destination wedding

Depending on the style of wedding you want, will determine your wedding attire for your destination wedding.

Casual

A casual wedding can sometimes have the bride and groom formal and the guests casual or the bride and groom can be casual as well. To be casual on a beach for a wedding you won’t want them in their bathing suits, or you might. Again the choice is yours but you do need to communicate your desires to your guests so they come prepared.

Casual dress could mean shorts and t-shirts or collared polos, and sandals for men and sandals and summer dresses for women. Shoes could also be made optional, if your wedding is on the beach.

Semi casual

A semi casual takes the apparel up a level where the bride and groom are either in complete wedding attire such as suit and tie and wedding dress, or dress pants and a shirt plus a not so casual summer dress including shoes or sandals. Guests could wear a similar style or substitute the long pants for dress shorts or khakis. Women can wear a summer dress with sandals, or again if you wish shoes to be optional.

Formal

A formal wedding means to all full dress up attire is required. Men in suits and ties and women in dresses with shoes or their choice. The bride and groom are dressed in a tux and a wedding dress just as if the wedding was taking place in a non Caribbean destination. The Bridal party dressed in their dutiful matching dresses and the men in their matching style and or colors.

In any case to achieve your desired look, communication is essential. Your wedding planner can help if any quests arrive unprepared.

It’s your wedding, so you get to choose the wedding attire, for your destination wedding.
